The Land of Enchanment Part 1

These are the pictures of the finished garments that I made for this trip. We Went to New Mexico, the land of enchantment. It certainly enchanted me. I love New Mexico. I can feel the magic in the air and it leaves me full of optimism and creativity! The mix of cultures results in this other worldly beauty! Touches of Spanish colonialism meets Native American splendor. Driving through the landscapes, you feel almost transported to another time, when this land was wild and filled with the possibility of adventure! I'm a sucker for adventure!

Aren't they cute?

This is me and my clan. Not a bad looking bunch if I do say so myself.

Love.

A daughter is a great gift to a mother. My sons are equally great and I hope to raise them up to be the type of men that other men want to be like and that women adore. But my daughter is a triumph for me, a testament to the woman that I am and all the things I never was and all the things that she will be.

Twirling our dresses.

Blending in.

Popping a pose.

More twirling.

Cowboys and Indians.

What's up buddy.

Peaking in. Being nosey.

My version of the fiesta dress.
Turquoise fabric, perfect for New Mexico. Yellow grosgrain ribbon completes the garment.
